More from the Friday the 13th remake Comic Con Panel
Like I said in my previous post I knew, Michael Bay and his minions would snatch the awful clip from the internet really quickly, even though they let it stay out long enough to get us all interested and talking about it. Good marketing job and thanks for leaking it fellas, you know who you are. However, here’s something they “authorized” for Dread Central.

Now besides the horror that was Paris Hilton introducing the clip, did I hear them right? They made Jason intelligent? Who wants that? We like that he was a lumbering killing machine. Apparently they have completely rewritten the story, there’s no crazy Mrs. Voorhees this time out. I liked that the original was filmed as a mystery where we didn’t know who was actually killing until the end.
And, I got to say as fug as Derek Mears is, I like him. He seems like a fun giant. What do you guys think, will I go over to the dark side and like a Platinum Dunes remake for once? Yeah, I doubt it too.
More Mysteries To Solve- Unsolved Returns
As some of you might have realized by now, I was a weird
little kid. I watched way too many horror movies and entirely too much tv growing up. Well, the spookier the better for the kiddies, I say.
Remember Unsolved Mysteries? Of course you do. They are bringing it back. Spike TV is updating the “Unsolved Mysteries” franchise by creating a new collection 175 re-edited episodes hosted by actor Dennis Farina. The new episodes, focusing on more of the dangerous and action-oriented cases, unsolved crimes, missing persons and unexplained paranormal phenomena begins its run on Spike TV in October, 2008.
Each one-hour episode will feature five stories re-enacted by professional actors, plus brand new show wraps and updates on past stories.
I wonder if Dennis is planning on wearing a trench coat like Robert Stack. The better to hide a concealed weapon in, right Dennis?
Check out this vintage show. There’s some hot hair and outfits in this clip. Enjoy!

He said What?
This is a Very short quiz, in fact its only one question. What horror villian uttered these words before their kill?
Who said, “This is it, Jennifer, your big break in tv. Welcome to Primetime, B*tch!” ?

Freddy delivered this snarky line to poor Jennifer, in 1987′s A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors.
