Obscure Horror Movie Moment of the Day
This movie is so 80’stastic! It stars a young Michael Caine and the little girl from Mommy Dearest. It was directed by Oliver Stone, when I think he was doing a lot of fucking coke. It’s just a weird movie in general, but not terrible. Something to watch when nothing else is available. Enjoy!

Miss Horrorfest 2009
After Dark Horrorfest III 8 Films to Die For is underway. Online submissions for Miss Horrorfest 2009 will be accepted from September 15th to October 17th on YouTube, right at youtube.com/horrorfest. Live Auditions will be held in: New York on Tuesday, October 7th and Los Angeles on Thursday, October 9th. More details to come soon.

True Blood Premieres Tonight!
Well, if you can pry yourself away from the MTV music awards, HBO’s first episode airs tonight. I believe most of us have seen the released leaked episode already, so it shouldn’t come as a huge surprise.
We are introduced to Sookie Stackhouse who is a telepath and a bunch of offbeat characters that make up the cast. I’m southern so the accents immediately grate my nerves because they are so over exaggerated it’s not funny. But, if you get past that the show is good. I won’t ruin it by doing my commentary until after the show airs. I’ll just say it’s definitely worth a watch and I can’t wait to hear you guys’ thoughts.
