I am Legend Prequel, becomes a Sequel – Maybe?

Remember when I was trying to figure out why we need an I am Legend prequel, scratch that we are now getting a sequel instead. I hate that Hollywood can’t just let a movie be successful and leave it. No, they have to turn everything into a franchise. And, what else do they need to tell us. Zombie virus wipes out most of the population, Will Smith immune, Will Smith dogs gets it, Will discovers other survivors, and Will Smith sacrificed himself. Now what? Here are the dumbtails for the sequel, prequel, whatever:

Let’s start at the beginning. Smith is actually the one who developed the initial story. It took place several years before the original film and there were still pockets of survivors and the story centered around Smith interacting, bonding, and ultimately failing to save them. For months this was the story. Warner’s didn’t much care for it and Smith and Weiss eventually came on board and all parties agreed to change things up. Well this change is pretty insane, the film is no longer a prequel, it’s a fucking sequel!

This Could Possibly Might Be Good – 2:13 Trailer

I don’t know about this one guys. I mean the premise could be great, but then again it kind of reminds me of a longer episode of House. The lead guy kind of looks like Luke Spencer from General Hospital to me. Honestly, that’s who I thought it was for a hot second. The movie is called 2:13 and here are the gory details, enjoy!

A police profiler (Mark Thompson) has just returned from psychiatric leave only to find that he is caught up in a serial killer’s rampage. Fighting to keep buried the trauma of his childhood, he must confront the all too-familiar flesh masks that the killer leaves on the faces of his victims. He must face his own demons along with the killer to save his small eroding existence.
