The Dark Path Chronicles – Watch It!
I have so much love and respect for Mary Lambert, because she is one the few badass chicks that are into horror. Lambert directed both Pet Sematary’s, Urban Legends 2 and some videos for Madonna and Janet Jackson (back when they were relevant). Mary’s a rock star! Anyhoo, she wrote and directed this little series of moviettes (my word for mini-movies) or webepisodes which can be found on Fearnet or via http://www.darkpathchronicles.com/index.html.

Your first assignment watch Path 1 and report back. We’ll discuss.
Here are the deathtails:
When Samantha, a teenager who hears voices, answers the call of a mysterious stranger, she finds herself drawn into a supernatural world of vampires, ancient conflicts and The Dark Path, an inhospitable environment where time and energy are distorted.
Entering into a life-and-death struggle between good and evil played out on the streets of Los Angeles and on The Dark Path, Samantha soon finds her own life, and the lives of her sister, Lisa, and friend and advisor, Father Raymond,
in mortal danger.
Jurgen, a rogue vampire who was “made” during the waning days of the Third Reich has just reawakened after 75 years. Calling Samantha to the urban wilderness of Griffith Park, he takes her captive and drinks her blood.
P.S. Thanks to ilikaofthelake for the fab tip!

Hit and Run Trailer – Straight to DVD
This looks like it will be completely expected and trite in every way, but it knows it’s place, straight to DVD. Don’t you love when people accept their limits? Check out the trailer and I say rent it. And ask yourself one question. Is he angry at being hit or because his teeth are jacked? You be the judge.

Obscure Horror Movie of the Day
This movie is TERRIBLE, but I still like it.

Night Train Trailer – Looks Mildly Entertaining
This is a total rip-off of 1995’s Shallow Grave, but whatever I like Danny Glover and Steve Zahn. And the fact someone hired LeeLee after all the years is a good thing. It’s called Night Train and the trailer pretty much explains itself. Enjoy!
