Blasphemy! – They Are Remaking The Crow

For some asinine reason they have decided to remake The Crow. The damn movie isn’t even old enough for a remake. Here are the details as reported by Variety.

“The Crow” will fly again.
Stephen Norrington has signed on to write and direct a reinvention of “The Crow,” based on the comic created by James O’Barr.
Ryan Kavanaugh’s Relativity Media is negotiating with producer Ed Pressman to acquire the film franchise and finance the film.
Pressman produced the 1994 Alex Proyas-directed screen transfer, in which rock musician Eric Draven is murdered trying to rescue his girlfriend from thugs, and returns from the dead one year later to exact vengeance. Though the original became a gothic-style hit that grossed nearly $100 million worldwide, it is primarily remembered for a tragic accident in which star Brandon Lee was killed during filming.

Good luck at finding someone hot as Brandon Lee. I had chosen to ignore it, but they are also remaking The Last Dragon. I watched that cinematic jewel this weekend for the first time since I was 9 and have to say that shit still makes me happy as hell! Still.

I like Samuel L. Jackson, who is rumored to be onboard. But, no one can ever capture the genius that was Julius Carry’s Sho Nuff! I get so happy anytime I have an excuse to use this clip. For joy!
