Scream 4 Will Have Courtney and David

I always try to be really loyal to Courtney because she’s from my neck of the woods, so I will keep the cynicism to a minimum. Here are the details:
“We are going to be doing ‘Scream 4′,” Arquette told E!’s Marc Malkin, indicating that both himself and wife, Courteney Cox, will be returning to the roles that brought them together.

Rumors of a fourth “Scream” film have been stabbed before over the last few years, but Arquette’s comment seems to suggest it may actually happen. He went on to say that screenwriter Kevin Williamson, who penned the original films, was working on the script.

“Hopefully Wes Craven is going to direct,” he added. Arquette and Cox met while making the first “Scream” film in 1996 .
I don’t know about this, I really liked this franchise as a trilogy, because at the time it was cleaver, but I’m not sold.

‘Zombieland’ Poster Released – I get the sentiment, but

I kind of think they were going old school movie housey with this poster but it just came out a little meh. Kind of like the trailer, there’s no “there” there.

Happy Anniversary to HorrorFatale.com! (Sorry folks, I ain’t stopping.)

Yes, today one year ago, an angry woman took to the internets to help bring information about good horror movies to the masses. Unfortunately, I have failed you.

Michael Bay and his minions at Platinum Dunes continue to produce big budget horror messes they call films. They continue to mangle horror classics and call them reimagining. Hollywood continues to take perfectly good horror from abroad and turn into crap. Then there’s Rob Zombie…I’ll just leave that alone because I’m not sure where’s he going with Halloween. Actually, he has turned Michael into Jason, so…

Anyway, the journey has been a bumpy one, but there have been some good times: The Orphanage, True Blood, Eden’s Lake, Time Crimes, Martyrs, Murder Party and Let the Right One In. And there has been some unspeakable total fuckery: The Eye, The Strangers (AGAIN they had A SHOTGUN!), The Happening and Lost Boys 2: The Tribe.

So, I pledge to you guys I will continue on my journey to find good shit for us to watch. I will see a good horror movie this year damnit! Maybe, hopefully, its likely, right??!?!?
