Take this with a grain of salt or a grain of coke. Not sure which one is needed in this particular piece of information. The UK’s Daily News reports that Freddy Krueger will have a Scottish accent (!) in next year’s Platinum Dunes remake of “A Nightmare on Elm Street.” Here’s what the actor, Jackie Earle Haley, told the Daily Mail about his take on the character.
“I thought it would be really interesting to give Freddy a Scottish accent and I think it works. It’s a scary process trying to step into the shoes of Robert Englund.”
I’m going to have a problem with Freddy sounding like Scooge McDuck…
Jackie’s fucking with us right? Right?

Answer is you cannot. This film actually had my approval with its title, ‘Juan of the Dead’. Remember that cool little British film, …
