‘Let Me In’ Clip – Not a Shot-by-Shot Remake?

You may or may not have seen this clip from the upcoming Let Me In already, but when I saw it, I immediately thought this didn’t happen in the original.
Ok, let me explain, Let Me In I was under the impression the remake of Let the Right One In was going to be shot by shot, but if this little clip is any indication then not so much. I have to say that makes me happy, because now I’m all curious about what changes they are going to make. Well big fat, Great!

Let Me In hits the theaters October 1st.

NO! No changes! The great thing about the original was the wonderful, calm creepyness of it. This is too much action. Like “One Hour Photo”…its supposed to leave you with this inevitable sense of doom and dread, like somewhere, out there, this is actually happening.

Well, I get what you’re saying. Have you seen both versions of Funny Games? Sometimes shot by shot can go bad.
