You have to love a movie that knows its whole being is to entertain you. This is exactly what the Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies does. It is simply a funny film that entertains you. First, we meet an inventor who is trying to sell his artificial snow to a Russian investor, because there is a lack of snow in the Alps for skiers. Global Warming is real y’all. But, the sales pitch goes wrong after the Russian investor mistakenly ingests the chemicals. The chemicals are toxic enough to kill him. Instead of him being a memory, the chemicals turn him into a zombie. How unfortunate for him, but great for us.
Meanwhile, three snowboarders (Steve, Branka, Josh) also on the mountain get left there by a company they were promoting. Just in time for the newly zombified Russian to take bites out of everyone at the local pub. As expected shenanigans ensues. Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies is one of those films in the vein of Shaun of the Dead, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, and certainly Dead Snow. It has some madcap moments mixed with some genuine gore. The characters are likable enough, especially Rita (Margarete Tiesel). She surprised me by becoming my favorite character to root for!
The film itself is shot really well. In fact the opening scene is beautiful in part because of the location. There are also some really nice kills and some great gore including a few zombie infected deer or are they elk? 🤔 Well whatever the antlered creatures are that run around the snow-covered mountains, they get infected too.

Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies is currently playing across all platforms including Comcast Xfinity, iTunes, DirecTV, Amazon Instant, Dish Network and VUDU.
