You have a weird clown fetish; well I’ve got just the place for you! That’s right folks, the creeptastic Clown Motel in Tonopah, Nevada is for sale. The 31-room hotel offers a lobby filled with a really effed up clown collection, pictures and, mirrors with even more clowns. The hotel is also located next door to a cemetery, which is actually way cooler than this clown nonsense in my opinion.
The current hotel owner, Bob Perchetti, opened the hotel 22-years ago because he thought it was a quirky kind of thing for a mining town.
“This is a historic mining town,” Perchetti said to LasVegasNow.com. “What’s a Clown Motel doing in a historic mining town? That’s kind of strange.”
Yeah Bob it is. Some of the rooms even have clowns that hang above the beds. SMH. Perchetti’s late business partner had the eerie clown collection at his home that now decorate the hotel.
“He had a house full of clowns, and he decided to bring the clowns up and put them to work,” Perchetti said.
Although clowns are definitely not my thang, tourists and nutters come from near and far to stay at the hotel.
Perchetti’s asking price for this prime kitsch property is $900,000. #grabyourwallet
