‘THE STRANGERS: PREY AT NIGHT’ Official Trailer – More Tiffany sans mall, More Kewpie Masks

Since the official trailer is a bit longer we get more of Tiffany’s I Think We’re Alone Now, we also get more creepy scenes. So hooray for that! And again, the couple looks defenseless without a shotgun!

A family’s road trip takes a dangerous turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park to stay with some relatives and find it mysteriously deserted. Under the cover of darkness, three masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test the family’s every limit as they struggle to survive.

So, I’m officially warming to this now. I’m enjoying the idea of masked Kewpie doll villains stalking their prey. What? It’s creepy – no? I also love how they keep pretending the film is based on true events, which always makes it more sinister. I need to go rewatch the first film, because I can’t decide if we ever figured out what these kids wanted. I remember it’s a take on the French film ‘Them’. I need to rewatch that one too, actually.

The film stars: Christina Hendricks, Martin Henderson, Bailee Madison and Lewis Pullman. It is directed by Johannes Roberts.

THE STRANGERS: PREY AT NIGHT hits theaters March 9, 2018.
