Japanese horror filmmaker Kôji Shiraishi helms this controversial and brutal slasher about a man and a woman, Kazuo (Hiroaki Kawatsure) and Aki (Tsugumi Nagasawa), kidnapped by a sadistic killer (Shigeo Ôsako) and held captive in their worst nightmare. Bound and gagged in a dingy basement, the two face their torturer, whose surgical garb foreshadows the horror to come. With graphic scenes of dismemberment, this shocker has been banned in Britain.
