It’s a *cheap joke, but hey I went for it anyway. At Comic-Con 2012, (yes I’m still nerding out about it) the publicity machine for Silent Hill: Revelation 3D released what in my opinion is one of the coolest posters I’ve seen in a while. I’m easy.
Revelation 3D’s plot follows teenager, Heather Mason, who discovers, on the eve of her 18th birthday, that her presumed identity is false and, as a result, is drawn to an alternate dimension existing in the fictional American town of Silent Hill.
So how many will of you will be dusting off your no face nurse costume this Halloween?
I seriously have no idea what’s supposed to scary or horrifying about Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman in the upcoming Black Swan. They are doing pretty, pretty ballet as far as I can see. Nevertheless, it’s supposed to scary. I don’t know. But, one thing I’m loving are the posters. Keep those coming they make me smile. I’ll go rewatch the trailer and try again. After a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of the prehistoric man-eating fish, an unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming fish food for the area’s new razor-toothed residents.
I’m in the worst mood, so my sarcasm volume is turned waaaaay up. For that I am sorry, But, the cool that is probably buried in the ice of this poster is lost on me. Like I said last week Let Me In looks pretty good so far.
