Candyman. Candyman. Candyman. Candyman. Candyman. As most of you guys know I am always screaming about how underrated Candyman is as a horror movie and horror villain. In other words, put some respeck on this shit!
Anyway, as you must know by now Jordan Peele will be bringing the brilliant Tony Todd along with the hotness that is Yahya Abdul-Matten II (Watchmen) back to silver screen this summer. So far, we know this is a retelling of the story and not a sequel per se for the franchise. It’s produced by Peele’s Monkeypaw and directed by Nia DaCosta.
Of course, to play with our emotions instead of dropping a trailer today, Jordan dropped a teaser for the trailer in a Tweet:

Candyman 2020 is expected in theaters June 12, 2020.
