‘Invisible Man’ and ‘The Hunt’ to be released for home viewing Friday

In response to the self-quarantining and social distancing that must happen to hopefully slow and/or stop the fast spreading COVID-19 NBCUniversal’s Universal Pictures is officially making its current movies in cinematic release available for home viewing on Friday, March 20th.

Blumhouse’s The Invisible Man and The Hunt will be available for on-demand 48-hour rental at the suggested price of $19.99 each.

Many states, like California and Louisiana have closed theaters entirely for the time being, this will most likely devastate the box office numbers this year. Also, films that were in production that have halted production due to the pandemic. It’s almost safe to say many studios will either be following suite and release new films via VOD or push release dates indefinitely.

Tuck in guys, we are in for a long summer.
