The newly released HALLOWEEN KILLS teaser trailer and John Carpenter’s announcement on the socials answers two of my many questions. Whilst I was still technically convalescing and recovering from my illness, and no and THANK God it wasn’t COVID, nonetheless it was a bit on the serious side – Carpenter released the teaser trailer. Tune into the upcoming episode of HorrorFatale.com Almost Live! where I explain what is going on with me further tomorrow.
So, from the teaser we learn that when we last left Michael in the burning house, the very good fire department of Haddenfield was racing to there to save the day. Oops. Meanwhile, Laurie Strode and her family (all now final girls, ladies if you will) on their way to “safety” scream for them to let it burn. Well, now we know how theoretically there will be sequel to the film that was supposedly not to have sequels.
And of course, thanks to the legendary John Carpenter we learn of the pushed release date, due to the fact the US just hit 3 million cases of COVID. Not, verbatim what he said, but that’s what happened.
I know you all have been looking forward to an update on the status of “Halloween Kills”. Here it is: pic.twitter.com/EWivyipYgR

Finally, to both revelations I say – well done. Because honestly, I do not plan on returning to a theater in the near future. As much as I love movies, I kind of love me more.
HALLOWEEN KILLS will now open in theaters on October 15, 2021 along with an IMAX release in October 2021.
