Boo! A Madea Halloween is a 2016 American comedy horror film directed, written, starring and co-produced by Tyler Perry.

Madea lands in the midst of mayhem when she spends a haunted Halloween fending off killers, paranormal poltergeists, ghosts, ghouls, and zombies while keeping a watchful eye on her wild teenage great-niece.

The film stars: Tyler Perry, Cassi Davis, Patrice Lovely, Yousef Erakat, Lexy Panterra, Andre Hall, Liza Koshy, Diamond White, Brock O’Hurn and Bella Thorne.

Boo! A Madea Halloween in my opinion gets an unfair shake, people ridicule this film as if there aren’t some even more ridiculous films in the genre. However, Boo! stays in line with the Madea franchise and there are some genuinely good horror movie elements. I took my then 8-year-old niece to see this, she thought it was both hilarious and scary – so it did it’s job for it’s targeted audience.
