Director Rob Zombie announced via his Instagram account today that he will be bringing The Munsters to the big screen as his next film project.
Personally, I’m a huge fan The Munsters, so I’m apprehensive about anyone stepping into the roles, retelling of narratives, hearse, what have you. Also, I’m the one horror fan that will openly admit I only dig the House of 1,000 Corpses and Devil’s Rejects, sadly I’m not here so much for the rest of Zombies other work.
But, I’m also happy Herman and Lilly can get introduced to a younger audience in some way and maybe they’ll go check out the original shows after they watch Zombie’s version. I guess we have to wait and see, before we (yes, I mean me) judges.
