‘Night Swim’, is coming soon to theaters

Coming soon to a pool near you, based on the acclaimed 2014 short film by Rod Blackhurst, is Night Swim.

Secretly hoping, against the odds, to return to pro ball, Ray persuades Eve that the new home’s shimmering backyard swimming pool will be fun for the kids and provide physical therapy for him. But a dark secret in the home’s past will unleash a malevolent force that will drag the family under, into the depths of inescapable terror.

Night Swim stars Wyatt Russell, Kerry Condon, Amélie Hoeferle and Gavin Warren. The film is directed and written by Bryce McGuire.

I love this tagline and it must be included in this post – No running. No diving. No lifeguard on duty. No swimming after dark.

What is it – it’s a ghost situation? Is the pool built on an Indigenous burial ground? Was someone murdered in the pool? What? What?

Night Swim, is coming in 2024 to theaters, so I guess we’ll find out.
