During the rest of Spooky season and Rakuten Viki, the largest streaming service for Asian content, has a whole lineup of content directed at horror fans.
Starting on October 19th, the platform will introduce the “13 Days of Halloween,” where viewers can watch a top-performing series for free for one day only in the lead up to the holiday, with one series a day will be fully available for free on Rakuten Viki. Titles will range from the popular Reborn Rich, and My Lovely Liar, to thriller Duty After School, and more.
Viewers don’t have to wait until then to get their fill of thrills and chills. Scary movie fans know that when it comes to the genre, the U.S. can learn a thing or two about horror films from Asia, so leading into Halloween night, Rakuten Viki is also offering two curated two playlists, Happy Halloween and Spooky Viki, featuring a collection of their scariest titles like The Wailing, Train to Busan, Conjuring Spirit and so much more.
Rakuten Viki is available to anyone to watch for free (with advertisements) or without advertisements with tiered subscriptions of Viki Pass Standard for $5.99 USD a month and VikiPass Plus for $9.99 USD. Rakuten Viki is available on several platforms, including desktop, mobile, and web.
