Just yesterday we got the first images, for the upcoming horror comedy film written by Diablo Cody and directed by Zelda Williams, well this evening we got the first trailer. Check it out.

A coming of RAGE love story… about a misunderstood teenager (Kathryn Newton) and her high school crush, who happens to be a handsome corpse (Cole Sprouse). After a set of playfully horrific circumstances bring him back to life, the two embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness… and a few missing body parts along the way.

The film stars Kathryn Newton, Cole Sprouse, Liza Soberano, Henry Eikenberry, Joe Chrest and Carla Gugino.

I think the trailer is real on-brand for something that takes place in 1989, which this story is based. I really like the look of the film and from the trailer it looks like it will be a lot fun. And as y’all know I’m really in to a good horror comedy, and I’m feeling nostalgic too.

Lisa Frankenstein is scheduled to be released on February 9, 2024 in the United States by Focus Features.
