Fresh off its mind-blowing world premiere at TIFF, watch a new trailer for Heretic — a wickedly entertaining twist on holy horror starring a never-better Hugh Grant.

Two young missionaries are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by a diabolical Mr. Reed (Hugh Grant), becoming ensnared in his deadly game of cat-and-mouse.

The film stars: Hugh Grant, Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East. It is written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods.

After all these years it’s wild I still get shocked when Hugh Grant shows his creepy side and he does it well. Seriously, even though the trailer was short he is all shades of effed up.
