HDNET MOVIES kicks off “Terrifying Thursdays” each week for Halloween

Starting this Thursday you can settle in for a double-dose of tricks and treats every week in October, as HDNET MOVIES unearths a crypt-full of fearsome favorites in the “Terrifying Thursdays” block at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The month concludes with a day-long Halloween Marathon, featuring all eight films in the “Terrifying Thursdays” lineup, on October 31 starting at 8 a.m. ET.

The sinister celebration roars to life on October 3 at 6:30 p.m. ET, with the true life serial killer thriller My Friend Dahmer, based on the best-selling graphic novel and starring Ross Lynch, Alex Wolff, and Anne Heche. Then, modern horror icons Bill Skarsgård and Maika Monroe get more than they bargained for in the premiere of the 2019 hit Villains at 8:55 p.m. ET.

Other horrifying highlights include Father Merrin’s first battle with Pazuzu in the premiere of Dominion: Prequel To The Exorcist, with Stellan Skarsgård; Lucy Liu as an undead reporter out for revenge in Rise: Blood Hunter; Oscar® winner George C. Scott in the classic 1980 ghost story The Changeling; Maestro of the Macabre Mario Bava’s influential anthology Black Sabbath, starring horror legend Boris Karloff; Robert Forster as a detective tailing a rampaging reptile in Alligator; and Kate Beckinsale in the haunted house chiller The Disappointments Room.
