For this Friday Freak Out, J6 Games brings to you psychological horror game Tower of Madness.
Tower of Madness is a linear psychological horror game where players take the role of a cowboy named John who ascends an ominous, upside-down floating tower as he follows the voices in his head. Tower of Madness features atmospheric horror, and third-person psychological horror gameplay – inspired by Stephen King’s “The Dark Tower.”
John has lived all his life in a small, desert town. One fateful day, he starts hearing a sinister voice inside his head. This voice preempts a horrific event—the murder of everyone John knows, right before his eyes. With nowhere else to turn, John is compelled to follow the voice, descending into a dry well that reveals a cavern containing an ominous, inverted floating tower. The voice tells John to follow his crows and ascend this mysterious structure.
Unfortunately, I cannot play the demo because its for Windows and I’m a Mac girlie. But, I can tell you it looks like a fun ride and the backstory seems interesting.
A demo for Tower of Madness is available to play now on Steam, and the game launches on October 25.
