‘PRESENCE’, gets a second trailer with more – presence

A second trailer for the Steven Soderbergh directed, Presence, has hit the internets and such. This time the trailer is giving us more presence and more information about the upcoming film. Enjoy.

A family moves into a suburban house and becomes convinced they’re not alone.

The film stars: Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan, Julia Fox, Eddy Maday, Callina Liang and West Mulholland. It was written by David Koepp. Koepp directed a couple of my favorite horror movies, Stir of Echoes and Secret Window. Both films were equal parts horror, thriller and mystery.

Spoiler alert: the film is told from the point of view of the presence – this reverses the ghost story narrative. Brilliant.

Again, I am not an elevated horror girlie, but this one has a lot of potential due to the premise.  If the pacing and action is done correctly this film could be a masterpiece.

Presence is scheduled to be released in select theaters on January 17, 2025, before expanding wide release on January 24, 2025.
