Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures across land, sea and air within that tropical biosphere hold, in their DNA, the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind.

This time in the dino universe we have two-time Oscar^® nominated and winning actors, Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali. The film also stars: Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain, and Ed Skrein.

Jurassic World Rebirth was written by David Koepp, who also wrote the first two films, Jurassic Park (1993) and The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997). It is directed by Gareth Edwards.

I have to admit, I checked out of the Jurassic World franchise after 2015’s Jurassic World –not a fan of Chris Pratt, I can only tolerate him in small doses. However, this VERY long trailer piqued my interest in revisiting the franchise. Plus, it’s Mahershala he can make most things interesting to watch.
