New documentary ‘My Husband, The Cyborg’, arrives Valentine’s Day

A new documentary, My Husband, The Cyborg, will be coming to digital platforms this Valentine’s Day, February 14th. And, no this isn’t a joke.

A marriage undergoes the ultimate test—neither infidelity nor a faded flame, but the allure of technology. With incredible intimacy, filmmaker Susanna Cappellaro documents her husband Scott’s decision to have an extrasensory device implanted into his body in order to increase his awareness of the world around him. As Scott goes further down this path, he can’t understand his wife’s resistance. And while Cappellaro documents herself struggling to understand their changing life, what might have been a science fiction becomes all the m sore human.

Featured in the film are: Scott Cohen, Susanna Cappellaro, Pelle Almqvist (The Hives), Professor Kevin Warwick, and Sharin Foo.

Honestly, I have more trouble with the fact Scott seems a bit dismissive of his wife’s concerns and feelings than I have with him implanting the extrasensory device into his body. Her reaction is valid friend.

My Husband, The Cyborg will be coming to digital platforms February 14th.
