‘Clown In A Cornfield’, a cornfield and Frendo the clown – New Trailer Thursday

A clown in or near a cornfield should signal to you that you might want to be running in the opposite direction of those two very things.  This trailer from Shudder and RLJE films for Clown In A Cornfield gives us all the reasons why. Simple tile says it all – enjoy.

“Quinn and her father have just moved to the quiet town of Kettle Springs hoping for a fresh start. Instead, she discovers a fractured community that has fallen on hard times after the treasured Baypen Corn Syrup Factory burned down. As the locals bicker amongst themselves and tensions boil over, a sinister, grinning figure emerges from the cornfields to cleanse the town of its burdens, one bloody victim at a time. Welcome to Kettle Springs. The real fun starts when Frendo the clown comes out to play.

The film stars Katie Douglas, Kevin Durand, Will Sasso, Cassandra Potenza and Aaron Abrams. It was directed by Eli Craig, also written by Craig and Carter Blanchard. The film is based on the 2020 novel by Adam Cesare.

CLOWN IN A CORNFIELD

This is one of the trailers where I have no notes. The film looks to hearken back to the days of a fun ass slasher with a ludicrous petty villain. Again – no notes.
