The first trailer for the Nicole Kidman, Matthew Macfadyen, and Gael García Bernal lead mystery thriller, Holland, has been released and I am intrigued. Enjoy.
In this wildly unpredictable thriller, Nicole Kidman is the meticulous Nancy Vandergroot, a teacher and homemaker whose picture-perfect life with her community pillar husband (Macfadyen) and son (Jude Hill) in tulip-filled Holland, Michigan tumbles into a twisted tale. Nancy and her friendly colleague (García Bernal) become suspicious of a secret, only to discover nothing in their lives is what it seems.
I love reading what they call cozy mysteries and this film looks like one come to screen. Nicole has been turning out some really cool projects lately. This is reminiscent of the limited series she did last year – The Perfect Couple. That one was also a murder mystery.
Holland streams March 27th on Prime.
