Well Jennifer and Freddie are back. Sony released the first trailer for I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot. Enjoy.
When five friends inadvertently cause a deadly car accident, they cover up their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences. A year later, their past comes back to haunt them and they’re forced to confront a horrifying truth: someone knows what they did last summer…and is hell-bent on revenge. As one by one the friends are stalked by a killer, they discover this has happened before, and they turn to two survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre of 1997 for help.
The film’s cast includes: Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, Sarah Pidgeon, Billy Campbell, Gabbriette Bechtel, Austin Nichols, Lola Tung, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, with Freddie Prinze Jr., and Jennifer Love Hewitt. It is directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and written by Leah McKendrick & Jennifer Kaytin Robinson.
This is a pretty good trailer; I’m still not dying (word choice intentionally) to see this one. However, again this is a decent trailer. This franchise was never must see for me, but I might dust off my slicker and rewatch these films before this installment is released. Maybe.
I Know What You Did Last Summer hits theaters on July 18, 2025.
