The trailer for the upcoming horror film, Weapons, is out and my word it’s spooky as hell in all the good way. Enjoy.

When all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance.

The film stars Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan. Zach Cregger directs from his own screenplay.

This has a Children of Damned vibe to it, and a little of The Children for good measure. It’ll be interesting to see Cregger’s take on this narrative. I continue to tell people stop having creepy children, but y’all won’t listen to me. Weapons will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, and released in theaters and IMAX nationwide on August 8, 2025, and internationally beginning in August 2025.
