The official trailer for IT: Welcome to Derry is here and it’s doing everything I want it to do. Enjoy.

Set in the world of Stephen King’s “IT” universe, IT: WELCOME TO DERRY is based on King’s “IT” novel and expands the vision established by filmmaker Andy Muschietti in the feature films “IT” and “IT Chapter Two.”

The cast includes Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, Rudy Mancuso, and Bill Skarsgård.

I have to admit that Skarsgård’s performance as Pennywise in It, was loads better than in It: Chapter Two. It was a better film than Chapter Two altogether. But I will say the TV version seems to have gone back and recaptured the macabre creepy scary factor of that first film. We shall see I guess.

IT: Welcome to Derry premieres October 26 on HBO Max.
