The official trailer for The Strangers: Chapter 3 has arrived, and yeah I guess. Enjoy.

In the final film of The Strangers trilogy, Maya (Madelaine Petsch) faces the masked killers one last time in a brutal, full-circle reckoning of survival and revenge.

The third chapter stars Madelaine Petsch, Gabriel Basso, and Ema Horvath. It was written by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland, based on characters created by Bryan Bertino and again directed by Renny Harlin.

I have been so disappointed in this trilogy of a franchise that I kind of liked. This incarnation was billed as a thorough retelling and what it turned out to be was boring and at sometimes just plain weird. Petsch gets attacked by a wild boar in Chapter 2 – the fuck? And, now it’s looking like she is enlisting to wear a doll mask. All of this has been a bit sad to watch as a semi-fan of Madelaine Petsch (yes, I wanted Riverdale) I think she could been a new Scream Queen, but this ain’t it. Now having said all that I will definitely watch the last film.

I do always enjoy the artwork though.
