They’re back and so am I…Paramount released the new trailer for Scary Movie and it looks like all the modern horror hits got a shout out. Enjoy.

Twenty-six years after outrunning a suspiciously familiar masked killer (“Ghostface”), the Core Four are back in the killer’s crosshairs and no horror movie IP is safe. Marlon Wayans (“Shorty”), Shawn Wayans (“Ray”), Anna Faris (“Cindy”), and Regina Hall (“Brenda”) reunite in Scary Movie alongside returning favorites and fresh faces to slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t final. Nothing is sacred. No trope survives. Every line gets crossed. The Wayans are back to cancel the Cancel Culture.

Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans and Rick Alvarez are the writers for this new installment. Was Damon busy, he didn’t have time to kick in a scene or two? Sorry off topic. It is directed by Michael Tiddes.

So, I guess. Fun fact, I only liked the first two Scary Movie(s) and then I was over it. But who knows I might be in the mood for this. I’m interested, because I love Regina and Marlon is still fine so…

Scary Movie is only in theatres June 12, 2026.
