I’m back, I was busy turning 50 years old last month, and for my illustrious return SONY has graced us with the trailer for the upcoming new entry into the Resident Evil franchise – called Resident Evil. Enjoy.

In an all-new story, Resident Evil follows Bryan (Austin Abrams), a medical courier who unwittingly finds himself in an action-packed, non-stop race for survival as one fateful, horrifying night collapses around him in chaos.

The film was written by Zach Cregger and Shay Hatten and directed by Cregger.

This looks interesting enough to me and the trailer is appealing. And, I really liked Cregger’s past films Weapons and Barbarian.

Resident Evil hits theaters September 18, 2026.
