First off the artwork released for Child, a chilling upcoming psychological horror from the UK is haunting and intriguing. The trailer, however, is not that. Enjoy.
With their young son running out of time, Anne and Greg are willing to sacrifice everything for one last chance to save him. But after crossing an unforgivable moral line, they find themselves trapped in a nightmare where every choice demands an even greater price.
Child stars César Award winner Malik Zidi (Oxygen), Brigitte Urhausen (Fils), Lydia Indjova (Sunny Beach), Anne Klein (The Roaming) and Dmytro Yaroshenko (L’été de Jahia).
This has to be one of the most disjointed confusing trailers I have seen in awhile. But, I think Anne and Greg are going to do some really bad things to get their kid a transplant, and they may even make a pact with some entity or rob a grave? The hell?
Anyhow –
The film was directed by Cyrus Neshvad and written by Neshvad and Guillaume Levil. Child will be in UK cinemas on October 2nd.
