The Room Below is the upcoming psychological creature horror stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors, Velvet Goldmine) and Alyssa Sutherland (Evil Dead Rise, Vikings). Enjoy.

Haunted by the loss of her son, a mother sees a second chance in a boy who enters her life at the perfect moment. But as the creature hidden within her home grows more dangerous and difficult to control, a retired detective investigating a missing child begins unraveling a web of secrets that leads straight to her door, forcing a deadly confrontation with the truth.

The cast also includes Bobby Gilchrist (Shapeless, The Invisible Raptor) and Gilbert Bradman (Transfusion, The Twelve). Kurt Martin (Moon Rock for Monday) is writer-director.

Honestly, I can’t decide if the creature or the mother is creepier. The Room Below on Digital and On Demand September 1.
