Ok, yeah, you read that correctly. Best-selling romance author Nicholas Sparks and plot twist virtuoso filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan have partnered to bring us upcoming Remain. Enjoy.

When reclusive architect Tate Gordon moves to small coastal town to complete his latest project, he encounters an alluring young woman who pulls him out of his shell, and into the center of a deadly mystery that hangs over the town.

Jake Gyllenhaal stars alongside Phoebe Dynevor, Ashley Walters, Julie Hagerty and Jay O. Sanders. Shyamalan directs from his own screenplay, story by Shyamalan and Sparks.

I am intrigued AF this time, as you might know if you read this site regularly, Shyamalan’sd work is hit or miss for me a lot of times. As far as Sparks goes I have never read his work and I think I might have only watched The Notebook so there’s that. But, yes – I’m interested.

Remain is in theaters across North America February 5, 2027, and internationally beginning  February 3, 2027.
