Alongside her new friends, a group of evangelical girls from the local church, Raquel dives deep into her spirituality and relives the pain of profound traumas. With support from some and resentment from others, Raquel tries to balance herself in a disturbing spiral of faith, reason and madness.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/J0nk1enpLDs\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>RAQUEL 1:1<\/strong>\u00a0world premiered at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival and went on to play S\u00e3o Paulo International Film Festival, MOTELX &#8211; Lisbon International Horror Film Festival, North Bend Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p>The film stars\u00a0Valentina Herszage as the titular character Raquel, alongside\u00a0Priscila Bittencourt, Em\u00edlio de Mello, and Ravel Andrade.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t really have any snappy banter or meaningful commentary on this one. I\u2019m not really religious enough to offer anything useful.
