Attack the Block is a 2011 British science fiction comedy horror film written and directed by Joe Cornish and starring John Boyega, Jodie Whittaker and Nick Frost. It was the film debut of Cornish and Boyega.

This is one of my favorite films hands down, it has that The Lost Boys, Monster Squad, Stand By Me, Goonies kind of vibe. Let’s get on our bikes and save the neighborhood from the big bad. Attack the Block was one of the films in my opinion that opened the door to the more recent Vampires vs the Bronx.
