‘Dark Night of The Scarecrow’ 40th Anniversary Airs as Centerpiece of Midnight Pulp October Lineup

Midnight Pulp, the popular streaming channel for fans of horror, thriller and action programming, has unveiled a full-throttle lineup of classic films and TV series for their October Halloween programming.  

The centerpiece of this year’s programming is a special 40th anniversary airing of Frank De Felitta’s made-for-TV horror classic, DARK NIGHT OF THE SCARECROW, starring Academy Award-nominee Charles Durning and Emmy winner Larry Drake. The movie is airing – exactly 40 years to the day and time it aired on the CBS Saturday Night Movie on in 1981 – at 9pm EST on October 24, 2021 (with an encore broadcast at 9pm PST / 12am EST). 

This fan-favorite tale focuses on a wrongfully-killed man exacting revenge from beyond the grave.

The free linear Midnight Pulp channel (available on Samsung TV Plus (1445),VIZIO SmartCast (135), The Roku Channel, Plex and Stirr (226) and on the Midnight Pulp app will feature “Halloweekend” marathons every weekend starting at 8pm.
