1980s slasher inspired, ‘Butchers Bluff’, is on its way

Breaking Glass Pictures announced the release of Butchers Bluff, a blood-soaked homage to 1980s slasher films.

Set in a reclusive Texas town where 28 people have mysteriously vanished over the past two decades, Butchers Bluff follows the students as they seek to uncover the truth behind the Hogman legend for their thesis project. What begins as an ambitious academic endeavor turns into a horrifying fight for survival.

The film stars: Michael Fischer (Rodger), Paige Steakley (Nicole), Johnny Huang (Derick), Paul T. Taylor (Sheriff Joe), Bill Oberst Jr. (Jed), William Instone (The Hogman), Jeremy London (Chris), L.C. Holt (AJ), Brinke Stevens (Mrs. Carpenter), Bill Johnson (Old Willie). It’s directed by William Instone and Matt Rifley and written by Instone and Renfield Rasputin.

Butchers Bluff  is out on March 11, 2025.
